Caitlin Miller is a New Hampshire native and began backpacking in 2010 on the southern portion of the Long Trail. She got hooked on hiking and has since trekked close to 1500 miles on the AT and LT. Between hiking trips she attended Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, QC, from 2012-2014. After graduating with a degree in English literature, Caitlin began her tenure at the GMC and has been a Caretaker, the Group Outreach Specialist/VHCB AmeriCorps member, Southern Field Assistant, and most recently, an administrative assistant and interim Group Outreach Specialist. Along with helping to process End to End applications and membership dues, she works with groups planning to use the LT and teaches them ways to minimize their impact through Leave No Trace. She is an avid hiker, dog-petter, and creamee enthusiast. She is currently a 2018 law school hopeful and, with her boyfriend, is planning another hiking-palooza on the PCT in 2017.
