Michelle Connor

Michelle Connor grew up in Essex Junction and returned to the area after graduating from Hartwick College with a BA in Spanish. She has worked for more than a decade in fundraising and administration at local non-profits, most recently at the Vermont Land Trust in Montpelier. She joined the Green Mountain Club in 2007 and completed her first overnight backpacking trip that summer on Camel’s Hump. She solo through-hiked the Long Trail the following year. She lives with her family in Essex and enjoys exploring the woods near her home.  Michelle looks forward to being more involved with the club and sharing the wonder and joy of nature with others.
