Elisabeth joined the board in 2019 as the representative from Sterling Section. She and her husband, Kevin, organized half a dozen work trips with the section in 2018 and are enthusiastic about continuing to work with old and new section members. Her experience with trail work comes from three summers working as a Caretaker for the Green Mountain Club on Mount Mansfield and Mount Abraham. In the summer of 2015, she resurrected a photo-monitoring study on Mount Mansfield for the GMC and then completed a solo thru-hike of the Long Trail in the fall.
Elisabeth holds a bachelors degree in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont. She currently works for Stowe Land Trust as the Conservation Program Coordinator and is excited to reconnect with the Green Mountain Club. She and Kevin met at the GMC and relish the opportunity to give back to the trail as volunteers. Elisabeth is happiest outside, and can generally be found gardening, adventuring, or relaxing with friends.
