As GMC’s Outreach and Field Coordinator, Liz (she/her/hers) is tasked with supporting groups on the Long Trail through trip advising and education. She also coordinates group volunteer projects and supports field staff.
Liz is a recent graduate from the University of Vermont’s Rubenstein School where she earned a B.S. in environmental studies. In her time at UVM she cultivated an interest in conservation and recreation. When it came time to make post-college plans, Liz couldn’t imagine leaving Vermont. Luckily, the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board’s AmeriCorps program provided an opportunity for her to stay and serve the Green Mountain Club. Her love for the outdoors dates back to childhood, growing up she spent most of her free time with family and friends in the mountains and lakes of New Hampshire. When she’s not outside enjoying Vermont’s great landscape, Liz can be found thrifting, crafting, or dancing.
