2020 GMC Digital Photo Contest Winners

Grand Prize Winner:

There are many ways to become involved with the Green Mountain Club, whether by helping maintain parts of the trail or shelters, volunteering your time at our headquarters to help with mailings, or by donating money. Another way to support the club is by submitting and donating photos of the trail to our photo contests. We use these photos in our Long Trail News, calendar, and other publications as well as social media to help inspire others and to further our mission of making the “Vermont mountains play a larger part in the life of the people”.

Between the three categories of Hikers, Shelters, and Trails scenes; Wildlands; and Flora/Fauna, we had over 200 photos entered! There were so many amazing photos, it was hard to choose a winner. Below are the winning photos along with two honorable mentions.

The Green Mountain Club is the founder and maintainer of the Long Trail - the oldest long distance hiking trail in America.
