Bruce is the Killington Section’s representative to the Board of Directors. He and his wife Amy have lived at the edge of the woods in Mendon for 36 years, not far from the Bucklin Trail and across the road from Aiken State Forest where they frequently hike or snowshoe. During the pandemic, they completed a section hike of the Long Trail.
Bruce earned bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT and spent his career in electrical generation, specifically in wind and solar energy for the last 20 years. Since retiring, he has participated in the Killington section’s trail days and adopted the Sherburne Pass Trail with his wife. He is a member of the Trail Conservation and Endowment Committees. He likes to ski, bike, fly his small plane, and support Amy on her mission to memorialize the Long Trail Lodge.
