Seasonal Employment 2018

  • Every year the Green Mountain Club has paid seasonal positions. You have the opportunity to be a Backcountry Caretaker or a member of the Long Trail Patrol. We also look for people with a trail background interested in working with volunteers to be Volunteer Long Trail Patrol Leaders. We also have excellent internship opportunities.

Summer season runs mid-May to mid-August and applications are reviewed beginning late-December.

Fall Season runs mid-August to mid-October and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

If you already have a "real job" or are looking for a way to gain more outdoor experience then join us for a week or two on a "Volunteer Vacation" as a member of the Volunteer Long Trail Patrol.

Please read descriptions of positions before applying. We prefer that you submit an online application. You can submit a paper application:

    The Green Mountain Club
