Meredith Naughton joined the GMC team in the fall of 2015 as the database manager. After graduating from Earlham College with a degree in Biology, Meredith worked for a year with a research team in Trinidad before moving to Vermont. She got her start with databases through primarily studying genomics in college. She further developed these skills managing the database at Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center, where she also worked in conservation and environmental and outdoor education. From the great state of Indiana, Meredith never thought of living out east as a likely path, but she has come to love Vermont (even in the winter). She loves doing many things, but most of all exploring new places, paddling her canoe, dancing, backpacking, and bike commuting. Lives in a beautiful house in Calais, though she prefers to sleep outside in the garden shed loft.
