As Field Coordinator, Isaac (he/him/his) splits his time between the woods and the office as he supports the Club’s trail crews and caretakers all along the trail. A Vermonter, he grew up in Thetford before leaving for Oberlin College in Ohio. He spent his summers working for AMC’s Three Mile Island Camp, where he got his first taste of trail work. Upon graduation he started his life in the woods, working on trail crews for Northern Forest Canoe Trail, Southwest Conservation Corps, and Baxter State Park. He came to GMC in 2016 and spent two summers caretaking at Sterling Pond and Camel’s Hump before moving to the supervisory side of field programs.
