After moving to Vermont in 2012 from Colorado, the first thing Alicia DiCocco did was buy the Day Hikers Guide to Vermont, so she was thrilled to join the GMC team in 2014 as the director of development. Prior to working for GMC, she was a Development & Communications Coordinator at Spectrum Youth & Family Services and has worked for other organizations in development and environmental education. Alicia studied Environmental Science at Boston University and spent the years after graduation living in tents across the country working on trail and desert restoration crews. She lives in Richmond with her husband, Shay, daughter, Lane (pictured), and son, Hugh, where they spend their weekends exploring the woods of Vermont.
